Envirecover Waste Plant

External window cleaning was part of the final preparations for the official opening of the new incinerator plant at Hartlebury Trading Estate, Kidderminster.

The EnviRecover plant will transform 200,000 tonnes of non-recyclable waste into electricity each year - enough to power 32,000 homes.

High rise tower block window cleaning

The St John’s tower blocks in Worcester are managed by Fortis Living and our work involved window cleaning to the communal staircases. The cleaning process included the use of rain harvested purified water to enable a thorough cleaning of both frames and glass

Coventry University's Faculty of Engineering and Computing

The Engineering and Computing building is a business-focussed education and research facility.
The building includes extensive workshops, a wind tunnel testing facility, lecture theatres, communal interactive spaces, teaching spaces, academic offices, and a roof top experiment area.

Industrial roof skylight cleaning and repair

Imperial Commercials have shed more light into their workshops by using Fletcher Access for cleaning and repair works on exisiting roof skylights.

Work was carried out from within the machine basket with low pressure steam fed through the long reach MEWP arm. A key requirement was to not make contact with the roof in person thus preventing the use of crawler boards and the expense of internal fall prevention netting.

Make blocked gutters a thing of the past

This city centre residential block managed by Fortis Living required gutter clearance followed by the fitting of a gutter filter brush product which keeps gutters clear whilst allowing rain water to pass through.

The use of our long reach powered access provided cost savings over scaffold.

Other works included replacing missing roof tiles and repairs to the wood cladding and lead flashing.

Hereford Furniture

Hereford Furniture are British manufacturers of quality furniture collections, supplying painted furniture, oak furniture and pine furniture to retailers nationwide.

Fletcher Access were brought in to clean the cladding and signage of the factory and warehouses in Hereford as part of the recommendations made by Lord Digby Jones in a BBC2 3 – part series looking at the state of the British manufacturing industry.

Rainwater Harvesting

Fletcher Access Ltd. harvest rainwater for use in our high reach cleaning services. Not only is this process environmentally friendly, it also means that we are independent in our supply of water.

The harvesting process works in this way:

Rainfall enables the collection of rainwater

Up to 25,000 litres of rainwater can be collected

Collected water goes through reverse osmosis filtration

The water is then used in water fed pole delivery systems

Coventry University High Access Window Cleaning

During July window cleaning has taken place on selected buildings with in the city campus.


Heated ultra pure water was transported to site and used for the cleaning process.  

The water is rain harvested from roofs and purified to a high standard at our depot in Worcester.

Traffic management was arranged for working on the highways.

Fletcher Access combine long reach platforms with heated ultra pure water to provide excellent cleaning results at this packaging manufacturer in Malvern. 

High level factory dust control

Automated Packaging Systems supply a range of standard and custom polythene bags in multiple materials.

Fletcher Access carry out periodic high level vacuuming ensuring that dust levels are kept to a minimum during the manufacturing process. 

Our 19 meter platform runs off mains electric with a integral power feed to basket for the 110v vacuum.

NEW College

Situated in Redditch and Bromsgrove. North East Worcestershire College provides the community with a spectacular range of facilities for the Further, Higher and Adult Education.

Fletcher Access service the college with overheadworks that include glass and canopy cleaning, lighting and gutter maintenance.

The Princess Royal visits Coventry University

THE Princess Royal gave her royal seal of approval to a multi-million department at Coventry University.


Princess Anne officially opened the £55 million faculty of engineering and computing and was given a tour of the building.

Fletcher Access provided pre visit cleaning works to glass and cladding using a 27 meter crawler mounted work platform.

Wychavon Civic Centre

Fletcher Access have been awarded the work of cleaning the Wychavon Civic Centre roof glass and windows. Shown in the photograph is the conservatory which seats up to 35 persons and is used for exhibitions, luncheons and wedding ceremonies.


Coventry University Multi-storey Car park

Set over 15 half levels and wrapped in an elegant screen of vertical stainless steel panels. Fletcher Access were contracted in the December shut down for cleaning works which included the external cladding and internal steam cleaning of the balustrade and handrail iron work.


The Hopmarket Worcester

Formely known as the Hop Market Hotel the building dates back to the start of the 20th century, and is now a mix of shops and residential dwellings. Over head works to date include window cleaning, gutter clearance and provision of powered access for structual surveying. A road closure is arranged with the local highways. All traffic management and planning is included as part of our high access services.
